5. Eldora or Eldorah Ellis^{8,24,25,26,27,37,38} was born in August 1866 in Kingsbury, Maine (Piscataquis).^{24,25,27,33,34,39,40} Age 4 in 1870. Age 15 at 1880 census. The marriage certificate for her son Leonard Grover says his mother Eldora was born in Wellington, Maine (Piscataquis). The marriage certificate for her daughter Mercy says she was born in Wellington. Her daughter Mercy's birth record shows her mother's birthplace to be Kingsbury, Maine. The death certificate listed Eldora as being born in St. Albans, Maine. She lived in Wellington, Maine (Piscataquis) in 1870.³⁹ She lived at home with parents at age 15 in Wellington, Maine (Piscataquis) in 1880.⁴⁰ Eldora lived in Highland Plantation, Maine (Somerset) in 1899.¹² She lived with her husband Edward N. Nutting in Highland Plantation, Maine (Somerset) in 1900.³⁴ She died on 5 November 1908 at the age of 42 in Harmony, Maine (Somerset).^37,41 Eldora was buried after 5 November 1908 in Harmony, Maine (Somerset). James was listed on the WWI draft registration as short, of medium build, and having hazel eyes and light brown hair.

Mercy Eldora "Mollie" Nutting^{24,26,43,44,45,46,47} was born on 22 May 1903 in Highland Plantation, Maine (Somerset).^{12,24,26,43,44,45,48} Mercy was the 5th born child to Eldora - Maine State Archives - Birth Certificate. Age 26 in 1930. Her death certificate indicated day of birth was the 20th - her birth record says 22nd. She lived as a boarder with Howard Pease family in Brighton, Maine (Somerset) in 1910.⁴⁹ She lived in Brighton, Maine (Somerset) on 9 September 1918.⁷ Mollie was listed as Mollie Pease on her brother Cecil's draft registration. Mollie was adopted in 1920 in Brighton, Maine (Somerset).⁵⁰ Listed as a foster child in the 1920 census. She lived as a foster child to the Howard Pease family in Brighton, Maine (Somerset) in 1920.⁵⁰ She lived in Brighton, Maine (Somerset) in 1923.⁵¹ Mollie lived in Brighton, Maine (Somerset) on 29 May 1929.⁴⁵ She lived in Brighton, Maine (Somerset) on 2 April 1930.⁴⁸ Boarding with step-mother. She died some type of brain disorder on 6 May 1931 at the age of 27 in Wellington, Maine (Piscataquis).⁴³ Mollie was buried on 8 May 1931 in Hutchins Corner Cemetery, Wellington, Maine.^43,52 Mother died in 1908 when Mollie was 5. She is listed in 1910 census as a boarder with Howard Pease family, age 7. She is listed in 1920 census as a foster child to the Howard Pease family, age 16. Mollie was a nickname for Mercy Eldora Ellis - later known as Mercy E. Pease via foster-parents.

Child Molly died age 27... younger than Cecil... Molly Bickford, married to Percy Lee Bickford - she is buried in the Howard Pease lot at Hutchinson Corner Cemetery in Wellington on the west side. Lived in Parkman - Don Parkman. Molly buried with ex-husband.

Daughter Jessie's marriage certificate says mother's maiden name was Mercy E. Pease.
