Atkins Ellis Jr.131,132 was born on 15 October 1786 in Levant, Maine (Penobscot).127,131,132,133 He lived in New Sharon, Maine (Franklin) in 1800.132 He lived in Industry, Maine (Franklin) in 1810.134 Atkins lived in Industry, Maine (Franklin) on 27 June 1820. Age 69 at 1820 census. He lived in Industry, Maine (Franklin) in 1820.135 Based on the fact that one son, age 26 to 44 was living with Atkins 1 and his wife in Industry in 1820. Both father and son were farmers. He lived as a family of 9 in Ripley, Maine (Somerset) in 1840.136 Atkins lived in Levant, Maine (Penobscot) in 1850.131 He died on 15 January 1859 at the age of 72 in Levant, Maine (Penobscot).133 On the 1810 census he is listed as Adkins Ellis Jr.

1840 census for Ripley Maine shows Atkins Ellis with 3 boys, between 10 and 14, 1 boy between 15 and 19, 2 boys between 20 and 29, and one man age between 50 and 59. Also 2 girls between 15 and 19, and 1 woman age between 50 and 59.

She lived in Levant, Maine (Penobscot) on 20 July 1850.131 She lived in Levant, Maine (Penobscot) on 15 June 1860.138 Betsey lived with her son-in-law Elias Frost in Saint Albans, Maine (Somerset) in 1870.139 She died after 1870 at the age of 84.

Albert Ellis131 was born on 4 September 1824 in Saint Albans, Maine (Somerset).131,136 He lived in Levant, Maine (Penobscot) in 1850.131 He died of appoplexy on 29 August 1896 at the age of 71 in Levant, Maine (Penobscot).

Otis W. Ellis76,133,142 was born in 1826.76,138,143 Age 34 in 1860. He was listed as age 40 in 1862 when he enlisted in the Army. He lived in Levant, Maine (Penobscot) on 20 July 1850.142 He lived in Saint Albans, Maine (Somerset) on 27 August 1850.144 Otis lived in Levant, Maine (Penobscot) in 1860.145 He served in the military between 26 July 1862 and 11 July 1865 in the Civil War, 1861 - 1865.146 O. W. Ellis was a private in the Army, Company F., 18th Maine Heavy Artillery. He enlisted 26 Jul 1862 in Bangor, Maine, was mustered on 21 Aug 1862 in Bangor, Maine, and was mortally wounded at Spotsylvania on 19 May 1864. He died 11 July 1865, in the service of his country, and is buried at the Harmony burial ground. He was 40 yrs old when he enlisted. He was an blue-eyed, auburn haired, light completed, 6 feet 1 and 1/2 inch tall millman, and a resident of Levant, Maine in 1862. He lived in Levant, Maine (Penobscot) on 26 July 1862.146 Otis lived in Wellington, Maine (Piscataquis) in 1867.147 He lived. Enlisted as a Private on 21 August 1862 at the age of 40 in Company F, 18th Infantry Regiment Maine on 21 August 1862. Transferred on 19 December 1862 in Company F, 1st Heavy Artillery Regiment Maine on 19 December 1862. He was Wounded on 19 May 1864
and hospitalized on 21 May 1864. He died of disease on 23 January 1865
