4554. William Mullins Sr., of the Mayflower428 was born about 1572 in Dorking, Surrey, England. He died on 3 March 1621 at the age of 49 in Plymouth, Massachusetts (Plymouth). He was buried about March 1621. William was a cordwainer, Pilgrim. Sailed from Plymouth, England on the ship "Mayflower" on the 16th. day of September, 1620. Of the four in the family that emmigrated, only one survived, the daughter Priscilla. also d. 21 FEB 1620/21, Aka, "Guillaume de MOLINES of Huguenot descent. Aka, Mulliness". The pamphlet described above contains 2 pages of data about William's home at West Street and something about the history of his leaving, result of his pilgrimage to America, etc. As it is a copyrighted piece I won't include it. He was buried about February 1672/3. He was born in Dorking, Surrey, England. Aka, "MULLINGES", reportedly went to America in 1636 (aboard the first trip of the ship "Mayflower". Other records dispute William having made the voyage. I don't really think he did, based on the weight of the records to that side that I've seen.
