"According to the obituary I have for George Edward Waddingham who died in 1901, he was survived by two sons, Robert and John of Rollingdam, N.B. and three daughters, Mrs. George McKaskill of N.H., Mrs. Lindsay Jacobs of Calais and Mrs. John Alexander of Watt Junction. According to several Canadian censuses Lucy was born in New Brunswick alto she had some older siblings who were born in England. George and his wife Sarah richardson emigrated to Canada around 1850 with his wife and 2 daughters, Annie and Mary. the children born in N.B. were Robert, Lucy, Laura and John William (my husband's grandfather). George was born in Billingborough, Lincolnshire 26 Feb. 1826. and christened at St. Andrews Church. His parents were Edward Waddingham and Ann Watson. Although I've searched the English records I've not found a marriage for George and Sarah nor have I been able to find any record of the birth of Annie and Mary. I believe that Sarah was the sister of the Richardson brothers who lived in St. Andrews in N.B. "
