to Ezekiel Northend and Maximilian Jewett as "brothren". He was made a
freeman May 1640: was town clerk, he was a representative for 14 years, 1640
& 1642, being the earliest from that town. Whittmore says "he went home and
died about 1656". His will mentions wife Elizabeth and six children.

He died on a trip back to England in 1656. He might have has a brother
John who lived in Rowley. Elizabeth Northend and Francis Parrat were married in 1639 in Rowley, Massachusetts (Essex).
