3063. Charles Andrew Higgins was born on 22 September 1899 in Grafton, Massachusetts (Worcester). He died on 15 September 1965 at the age of 65 in Cranston, Rhode Island (Providence). He was 1/512 Wampanoag/Narragansett Indian from father. Charles Andrew Higgins, 65, of 1900 Woodstock Lane, Cranston, died unexpectedly yesterday at his home. He was the husband of Marjorie (Ballou) Higgins.

Born in Saundersville, Mass., September 22, 1899, a son of Ellen (Gove) Higgins and the late James H. Higgins, Mr. Higgins was employed as a salesman at the Jones Warehouse in Providence.

Besides his wife and mother survivors are a brother, Leland H. Higgins of Blackstone and a sister, Mrs. Ruby Mills of Okinawa.

The funeral will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Curtis J. Holt's Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
