Manley M. Hayward and Sarah Elizabeth "Lizzie" Morrisey were married on 22 March 1875 in Alexander, Maine (Washington). Sarah Elizabeth "Lizzie" Morrisey was born in 1855 in Maine. Age 25 in 1880. In 1880 she was a worker in a cotton mil in Cooper, Maine (Washington). She lived in Cooper, Maine (Washington) in 1880. Living with her husband at his parents in 1880. Sarah died after 1880 at the age of 25. Sarah was resident of Crawford, ME at her marriage, per "Machias Union" newspaper. She was the daughter of John Moraisey, b. 1790, England, d. 1870, Crawford, Washington Co., ME & Ruth Blakman, b. New Brunswick, Canada. This information comes from the death certificate of her sister, Mary Ann (Morrisey) Godfrey, d. 30 July 1912, Nevada City, CA (per Debby Merriweather <merriweatherrmci.net>)

Perhaps she was sister of William "Moraicy" (1880 census, same) with whom she was living, as "Elizabeth S.,"at the 1880 census, along with Perlin Hayward, nephew of Moraicy. Husband Manley was living with his parents at the 1880 census, Cooper, ME, but Sarah is also shown as "Lizzie," daughter-in-law of household head, Henry "Haywood."
