Marriage: Harwich VR pg. 115 states Then Ezekiel Andrews of Eastham and Thankful Rogers of Harwich were married in Harwich by Rvd. Edward Pell.
Will of her father, Ebenezer mentions "my grandchildren, the children of my
daughter Thankful Androus (deceased)....

Thankful Rogers and Ezekiel Andrews were married on 28 February 1750 in Harwich, Massachusetts (Barnstable). Ezekiel Andrews was born about 1730 in Harwich, Massachusetts (Barnstable). History of Harwich Mass 1620-1800 by Josias Paine: pg.293 "The men the town
furnished for the 'proposed expedition' against Ticonderoga and Crown Point,
and who with the other troops raised were ordered to halifax to take part in
the movements against Louisbourg by Lord Loudan's orders were: Ezekial Andrews
who entered service March 9 and served until February 23, 1758; pg. 300 relates
the the death of six men when their boat capsized in the old Harbor at Chatham
and came ashore bottom up. Ezekiel and two of Thankful's brothers died.
Will of Thankful's father, Ebenezer mentions "my grandchildren, the children of
my daughter Thankful Androus (deceased)"......

Remarks: year not given, endorsed 1757, .............. probably 1758 on Crown
Point Expedition, Reported 21 days travel allowed.
Appears on A Return of men enlisted for His Majesty's service for the total
reduction of Canada -- 1760. Feb 28, age 30, Birthplace: Harwich, Residence;
Harwich, Certificate on reverse, dated Harwich March 18 1760, signed by Thomas
Winslow, Commissary of Musters (and Justice of Peace) states that said Andrews
and others were attested mustered and delivered to Thomas West's recruiting
officer.
Ezekiel Andrews appears on a Muster Roll dated Boston, February 10, 1761 of a
company in His Majesty's service under the command of: Capt. Thomas West,
quality: Corporal, Residence: Eastham, Entered service: March 18 1760, served
until Dec 6 1760, Length of service: 37 weeks, 5 days, Remarks: Reported 18
days billeting home allowed.
